My dad, Brendan, works as an Aviation Safety and Security Supervisor for ConocoPhillips. He has worked there for 15 years. ConocoPhillips has a shared airline, Shared Services, that gets workers up to the Northern Alaska to work in the oilfields. You can learn more about my dad's work here: Shared Services Magazine Article. My dad built a cabin two hours away, where we go for fun weekends. We also rent out the cabin to help pay for my brother and sister's college tuition. My dad took about 3 years of weekends to build it. You can see pictures of it here: cabin pictures on Airbnb. He knows how to do just about everything. My dad likes teasing me, watching Kansas City Chiefs, playing soccer and is excited about my exchange.

My mom, Ami, is a stay-at-home mom. (She has 2 college degrees in education, but never used except to help us with our homework.) Now that I am going on exchange, she just has the two dogs and my bunny to take care of. She likes taking the dogs on walks, traveling, drinking coffee & eating sweets, listening to NPR, watching movies and giving me a hard time if I procrastinate on anything.

My sister, Roslyn, is in her 3rd year of college at the University of Idaho getting two degrees: Chemistry and Chemical Engineering. She went on exchange to Dublin, Ireland for her 2017-2018 college year. She has also been to Japan and is going to China in the summer of 2019. Besides science, she likes doing art projects and hopes to get an internship at NASA. She started a YouTube channel her first year of college, but then got too busy to keep making new animations. My brother, Benson, is starting a degree in Computer Science in the fall of 2019, also at the University of Idaho. He shares an apartment with Roslyn. He has a pet conure, named Tortilla. Benson is a great cook and I miss having him home. He cooks the best steak. You can see his Instagram here: Benson's Instagram.

My dogs and bunny are also part of my family. My dogs, Psych (a 6 year old bichon frise) and Bean (a 5 year old miniature schnauzer), have their own Instagram account. My mom started it so my sister wouldn't miss the dogs so much while she was away at college. You can see how cute they are here: my doggies' Instagram.

My bunny, Lucy, is a Holland Lop that I got the summer of 2018. She roams in my room and keeps me company. She also has her own Instagram account: my bunny's Instagram I will miss my furry family!
